What Are Single Tooth Implants?

The single-tooth implant process involves several steps. First, we place the implant, which requires a healing period of 4-6 months. Following this healing phase, we perform an “uncovery” procedure, accessing the implant from under the gums and placing a healing abutment. After two weeks, the gums were remodeled around the abutment, allowing us to take an impression of the crown (tooth). Finally, our lab creates the crown, which is then placed onto the abutment to complete your implant. To ensure the long-term success of your implants and overall oral health, we recommend regular dental check-ups and prefer to see our patients every six months for cleanings, which play a crucial role in maintaining the health of the implant.
